What is shearling ?
Shearling is the natural, soft woolly lining of a genuine sheepskin pelt. It is not sheared wool woven into a backing; it is the 100% natural wool still attached to the skin. It’s prized for its incredible warmth, breathability, and luxurious feel.
What is the sheepskin ?
Sheepskin is the leather hide (the skin) of a sheep. “Shearling” (the wool) and “sheepskin” (the leather) are two sides of the same single pelt. This is why our reversible coats can be worn with the sleek leather side out or the plush wool side out.
Do you use wild or exotic animal fur?
Absolutely not. We are strongly committed to ethical sourcing. Our products are crafted exclusively from genuine sheepskin, which is a by-product of the food industry. We do not use any fur from wild, exotic, or endangered animals.
